Where has the time gone? This summer dragged along, and then it kicked in around mid July, now its fading faster then a shooting star. The nights are crisp, and filled with delicious scents. The skies are clearer, and sometimes if you catch the moon just right she reveals the coming harvest to you in her shades of pale muted tonic, to a bitter orange colour.
Savoring the last bit of summers warmth, I cant recall a more pleasent time of year. Just watching the bright colours of sunset fade into the hungry, greedy horizon. Leaves fall without a sound, drifting to the ground in a perfect dance, welcoming the new season. As they change from Springs glorious green, (a colour I couldnt wait to see after such a long and cold unforgiving winter), to a lemony yellow, so tart in its shade you can taste the sweetness of this fall foliage.
Friends, many of you have had an amazingly forever changing season. As this time of year comes to a close, I sit and reflect, sometimes too deep for my own good. But, I do look back and I can not think of a better group of people then the ones here, so pure and true to thier hearts. Your love for history and the flamboyant flairs of life, bond us all forever. Never have I met such outgoing carefree spirits, it is a blessing to be bestowed on one just to have you all as said friends.
I love quotes and one that fits this season is: "Drink wine, this is life eternal This, all that youth will give to you It is the season for wine, roses And drunken friends" my fav quote! "Be happy for this moment - This moment is your life" how fitting that we all raise a toast to one another for health and happiness as Summers door begins to inch its way shut for another long harvest and then leading into a winters slumber? We should all be so greatful that here in eachother we have an outlet, an ear to bend as we vent our turmoils, and family dramatics, and sometimes just our breathless thoughts.
Tenderly with much personal involvement, I respectfully send out love to many of my dearest friends. For you have brought me closure when I needed to let go, you have given my hope when I feared there was none to be had, you let me cry when I couldnt find words, you loved me when I was alone, you praised me and encouraged me to keep on keeping on, you allowed me to be myself, and to love you in return.
With every passing moment ,as the days grow shorter, and the bitter winds begin to remind us that things are a changing, I am in sync with this place in my life now. What it means to come full circle must be revealed in the Autumn, for it is then that all comes so much clearer. Without you, without your words, laughter, jokes, praise, hellos, and biddings of good tidings, I wouldve folded faster then a bad hand at poker. I have no regrets, no do overs, just great hope that this season brings me personal joy, and finally love. I look to the nights that are long and full of secrets, to bring with them my hearts longing of a love. And I know I will have it.
In closing this random blog, I send you all my love, strength and energy that you have sent me, I send my prayers that your needs are met, and that love keeps you warm this coming season. Dont be fooled by the hob goblins for our season as the fae, nobles, knights, lords, kings and queens, never really ends. We all have a bit of magic in us that allows us to be free from our own time, and to be polite to the past and live through it in one another.
I bid you all good-day and if ever you need someone, I am here, keeping a vigil in my realm, holding the fires wrath of warmth and protection, for anyone needing it.
Dream your dreams, and live through them no matter what, it is our childish innocence that begs us to come out and play dress up. Laughter and Love are the most important things we can ask of ourselves to give to others.

~ pixie ~ the wicke...That has got to be one of the kindest, most genuine and heart-felt things i've ever heard. You have put into words what most of us in the faire community do feel for one another, as we are all either already friends or friends we have not yet had the pleasure of meeting.
What a pleasure to read this post of yours.
Thank you, and Blessed Be.
